About This Project

Ved Havet | By the Sea | Ebeltoft, Denmark

Diameter: 3 m, height: 2,60 m. Built in August 2001 at the harbour of Ebeltoft, Denmark out of 5 ton of white clay. The context was a 700-year town celebration. A big flat shape like a sail or radar turned towards the entrance of the harbor and the distant seas. Landwards there were many openings or ‘connections’ to the town. The sculpture was vandalized after four months.
